Medieval Market of Santo Domingo de la Calzada
Once again, the magic of the Middle Ages will flood the streets of its old town, in the Medieval Market of Santo Domingo de la Calzada, which will be decorated and set to make visitors take a trip to the Middle Ages.
Jugglers, jesters, bagpipers, fairies, elves, stilt walkers and many other characters will animate the streets of Santo Domingo de la Calzada to celebrate this Medieval Market of 2021, from Saturday 4 to Wednesday 8 December. Regarding the programming, it maintains some of its classic events, such as the medieval wedding, knights’ tournaments, falconry exhibitions, archery, etc., along with an incessant street animation within the framework of the market, which collects many novelties.
As security measures in this edition, the number of booths has been reduced by about 15, up to 70, and the accesses to the squares and sections of Calle Mayor have been made clear of them, to avoid crowds.
